Capabilities
Amnicon Constructions delivers commercial building projects across Victoria and Australia-wide, in sectors including education, childcare and early learning, community, sport and aquatic, health, hospitality, commercial, industrial and mixed-use, and residential construction. We work as head contractor, predominantly under fixed lump sum contracts, and no brief is too focused or too ambitious: our projects have ranged from boutique fit-outs to landmark community facilities, and our capability keeps growing with every build.
Whatever the sector or scale, every project runs on the same disciplined framework: measured estimating, rigorous site management, integrated safety and quality systems, and communication that keeps you informed rather than guessing.

Services
We work as head contractor on most projects, but the earlier we are brought in, the more we can take off your plate. Planning, design, construction and project management run under one accountable team, so nothing falls between consultants — and fewer surprises reach the site.

Sectors
Amnicon has never picked its sectors from a strategy deck. Every one of them opened because a client asked — a school that needed a canteen, then a hall; a council that needed a pavilion; a community group that needed a home of its own. We go where the work is and where we're wanted, whether that means a new building type, a new suburb, or a three-hour drive into regional Victoria. It's how a builder that started with a rural medical centre renovation ended up delivering a 25-metre pool, a landmark minaret, an EV showroom and a professional-grade soccer pitch.
Delivery
The same delivery framework sits under every Amnicon project, tuned to each site and client.
Start-up and planning
A start-up meeting confirms objectives, surfaces risks and sets communications. Environmental, safety and quality plans are approved before work begins.
Site establishment
Existing conditions photographed, compliant power and services established, amenities and secure fencing set up, traffic management in place.
Procurement
Trades selected on proven experience, capability and lead times — local where possible — with long-lead items ordered early so the programme never waits.
Construction
Works sequenced from site preparation through structure, lock-up and fit-out under close supervision, with inductions and SWMS for every worker.
Quality and commissioning
Inspection and test plans run through every trade, defects close progressively, and a project-specific commissioning plan covers services and documentation.
Handover and beyond
Defect inspections precede practical completion, documentation is handed over in full, and we stay responsive through the defects liability period.
System

Project controls
Informed clients make better projects
We plan and monitor every programme in Microsoft Project, manage supplier, subcontractor and specification data through structured databases, and run cloud-based reporting that gives clients real-time visibility of progress. A dedicated account manager acts as your consistent point of contact from award to handover.

Environment
Building more, sending less to landfill
Our project teams prioritise recycling, material reuse and waste segregation on every site, backed by measurable objectives and targets. Strategic procurement reduces waste before it reaches site, and tailored environmental management plans address the specific conditions of each project.
FAQ's
What types of construction does Amnicon deliver?
Amnicon delivers the full breadth of commercial and residential construction. Our portfolio spans education and community buildings, childcare and early learning centres, sport, recreation and aquatic facilities, health and medical facilities, hospitality fit-outs, warehouses and showrooms, mixed-use developments, and residential projects from multi-unit townhouse developments to new homes, renovations and extensions. The sectors we show are where we have built most, not the limit of what we build.
What project values does Amnicon take on?
Amnicon takes on projects at every scale, and no ceiling applies. Recent work spans compact commercial fit-outs and childcare renovations through to landmark education and aquatic facilities, with our largest contract to date at $12.7 million and larger projects firmly within our capability. Every project receives the same planning, supervision and quality standards regardless of value.
What contract types does Amnicon work under?
Most Amnicon projects are delivered under fixed lump sum contracts, which give clients certainty on price from day one. Our estimating team prices from measured costs rather than assumptions, so the number we commit to is one we can stand behind. Talk to us about your preferred procurement route.
Can Amnicon build on operational sites?
Yes. Amnicon regularly delivers projects on live sites, including school campuses in full operation, an occupied community facility being extended in stages, and hospitality venues working around their event calendars. We plan staging, separation and access so daily life continues safely alongside construction.
How does Amnicon manage safety and quality?
Amnicon runs integrated safety, quality and environmental management systems on every project, with site-specific inductions, Safe Work Method Statements and inspection and test plans as standard. Safety performance is independently verified through periodic third-party audits, and our incident and industrial relations records speak for themselves.
Does Amnicon work in regional Victoria and interstate?
Yes. Amnicon delivers projects across regional Victoria as well as metropolitan Melbourne, and takes on work Australia-wide for the right project. Regional experience includes the $6.1 million Bendigo Community Centre, a rural property renovation in Lara near Geelong, and a medical centre renovation in Elmhurst in Victoria's west. Distance has never been the deciding factor; the project is.
