A new school canteen defined by a striking pavilion-style canopy — the care Amnicon brings to compact, high-use community spaces.
A school canteen is one of the busiest spaces on any campus. The brief: somewhere that could comfortably absorb the daily rush while adding architectural interest to the grounds. The answer is a purpose-built canteen anchored by a modern pavilion-style canopy that shelters the adjoining outdoor area and gives the space a clear identity.
The canopy was the defining construction challenge — a lightweight, open structure that needed to feel airy and generous while meeting the structural and safety requirements of a building used by hundreds of students daily. Erecting it to clean, consistent lines demanded careful steel coordination.
Working on an operational campus, the site team planned works to keep construction and school life safely separated throughout — and the project received the same standard of planning, supervision and finish Amnicon applies to its largest builds.
